I'm sorry I think people should report when someone needs to be reported. There are somethings that does not need to be on here. Yes this is a public forum. Public meaning there are kids on here also. People need to take that into consideration. As for you yelling at Rhonda she said she reports when someone is talking about child abuse & she should. Are you saying it is ok to talk about abusing a child. If so people should report you because you are sick. And if you are not saying that then you should take the time to really read her answer and understand it before yelling at her.

I believe reporting is necessary when the people's ANSWER is in NO way related to the question topic, or is chock full of ignorant dribble. If people want to troll, they have sites specifically where they can do that on.

By that same token, some of the QUESTIONS put on here are at times very common sense, or thought up by questionable means.

Like... don't ask us whether or not you should keep a guy again, who you caught cheating on you 2 or 3 times in the past.
That is just ridiculous. If you haven't learned your lesson by now, that is just too bad for you.

no, when I do it I genuinely think the person is an insulting other participants, the category I report questions I think are racist, and there are loads of questions on here where the person gives the answer, like in a lot of the riddles, so why the question?, should leave the answer off, that means its a question, giving the answer means it's a statement, therfore shouldn't be on here.

I think it some cases its justifiable for instance if there are people just blantantly being rude and racist etc Ive seen people answer like that to questions cos they seem to think its fun, but at the same time some people do it for no reason other than seemingly their kicks!? One guy put a question up saying who wants some points so I replied by saying ok thanks and got reported by the same guy for gaming! What the!!!

I don't know personally, because I have only reported spam and a few posts that were gusied as questions but in reality extreme racist and murderous rants. Everything else, I just flip past and let other people worry about. It is completely silly to report something just because you don't like it or don't agree, but guess what people are stupid and petty, hate to break that one to you.

It is because some ppl say obscene things and Yahoo doesn't permit it. I think it is good if someone reports abuse when warranted.
