I would choose Murder on the Orient Express. It has some classic, oft repeated Christie elements. The closed setting where nobody can come or go; the colourful cast of suspects; Poirot's use of his "little grey cells" to figure out the mystery and the gathering of all the suspects together for the big explanation at the end. Clever and fun.

Both are good. Murder on the Orient Express is more popular because it was filmed. Curtain is good because Hastings finishes his case.
But I like The Big Four more.
Murder in the Orient Express is good because no one really knows who committed the murder. Everyone has a motive and opportunity.
Curtain has this murder by suggestion element. The murderer never kills. But suggests things which leads the others to kill. Hercule Poirot writes at the end that he is ashamed to have ended his career with a murder, a thing he abhors.

I've always liked Murder on the Orient Express because of the conceit of 12 people inflicting justice. It's a neat trick. I've always found Curtain a bit too difficult to comprehend, even if Poirot gives away all the clues.

Even though I have never read Curtain, I would have to go with Murder On The Orient Express. This is Agatha Christie's greatest book of them all. This book shows Poirot using his grey cells in one of his greatest case of them all.

Murder on the Orient Express, definitely. A great classic; this and And Then There Were None are her best works, in my opinion.

I found Curtain a bit stretched. Dame Agatha was, understandably given her age and prolific output, slipping a bit when she wrote it.

relies upon what you propose via terrific. Its large via itself standards, yet in different regards there are extra suitable Poirot thoughts, including "The homicide of Roger Ackroyd" or "The A. B. C. Murders." the whole of Agatha Christies Poirot mysteries are large, no could desire to %. basically one, examine all of them! :-)
