would more (or less) sexual partners lead you to a more (or less) sexually satisfying life?
-I would appreciate if you avoid subjects like: STDS, morals, cultural issues, etc.-

joanmazza - Thanks for your answer! some subjects may be more responsive to promiscuity than others. Extra points for not going into the "emotional well-being" dilema, which is related to sexual satisfaction, but not what i'm trying to find.

This is an interesting question. Some people who are sexually promiscuous enjoy sex and are able to be responsive with a variety of partners. They gain experience from the variety and enjoy experimentation.

Others, however, are not responsive or have some sexual dysfunction and are hoping to find a solution in the quest for more and better sex. Or they are trying to overcome the negative feelings from their first sexual experiences or traumas.

I have come across several promiscuous individuals who were unable to achieve orgasm (women) or unable to maintain an erection for intercourse (men).

So clearly, similar behaviors have different motivation and outcomes.

Yes, of course it is. Once I've been with the same girl a few times and tried new stuff with them, I get somewhat bored and want a new partner to start experimenting with.

yup. i would say it is but to a certain extent. you shouldn't over do it by screwing a girl every day though. find someone that you really love and do it every once in a while.

No, it is linked to desire more than satisfaction.
