i agree with the earlier poster: some european brands are available in the philippines that can't be found in the US. marks & spencer is a great example. celio (for guys) is another one. if you're looking for authentic designer stuff, you might get a better deal in hong kong (generally cheaper than in the US) -- that's where the rich locals go for those kinds of things.

The only real authentic bags of that kinds in Philippines are in the duty fee shops inside the airport.
But outside the airport the bas are all knock-off bags there is no such things are real. However these name brand bags comes in grade or classes, for a well made bag, the class are called triple A they are from 2,500 pesos to 4,000 pesos, the double a grade are from 1,000 to 2,000 pesos, the lowest class are from 200pesos to 1,000. the current exchange rate is $1 is 49.50

its around 20,000 to 200,000 php. Same prices like in the US. I would suggest that you buy US designer brands in the US, its the same price anyway. But the good thing about shopping in the Philippines, they dont add tax to the mechandise, you pay what's on the tag.
You know what is better to buy in the Philippines? European brands! Like Replay , Diesel, Marks and spencer etc....They have a wider variety of choices compared to Nordstrom or Neiman Markus in the US :-)
They have good local stores too! like BAYO & Kamiseta
go to Shangri-la mall, Greenbelt 3 and Glorietta 4 :-)

Depends on the catalgue number. Prada bags would probably cost around 35,000.00 LV i'd say 40t up.

as far as i know, louis vuitton bags are like 100kphp and up. went there last month to compare the price with the one i bought from paris....
