Please try not to name any ancient rockers who were great in their heyday, but no longer prevalent today. You know the ones: jagger, morrison, tyler, ozzy, halford,etc. What younger, talented singers will carry rock from THIS generation to the next?

I'd have to agree with Who's Ur Bagdaddy... I recently saw U2 live and Bono is amazing vocally. I also like Chris Cornell form Audioslave.

Personally, of the younger generation and I think he qualifies...Bono of U2..he is absolutley amazing and when he puts lyrics to music, they usually mean something or represent something and he is always active in resolving or assisting to resolve world issues.

ooh, yes, Chris Cornell's good. Brandon Boyd has an AMAZING voice, & JR Richards (of Dishwalla) as well. Ooh, and Matt Bellamy of Muse, I love him.
