Hi there, SolarH......
What you do not give us is the "story".... the story tells us what the dream is based on and what it is all about.. how it got started.. and where it began... The dream itself is told in your perspective and so offers all that is needed for you to understand it......
You said:
" dreamt that I was being attacked and eaten by Lions "
Lions are symbolic of people.... it is the character nature of a person to act animalistic.... it is someone you know..... Now, consider the character.... lions are those who devour... they are brutally cruel.... but nourishing to family......
To be attacked is to have someone come out and entreat you indifferent... an attack need not be physical to be construed as an attack.... but it may also be verbal.....
Notice too, that it is not just one person, but more than one person who has treated you this way......
dream says "eaten"...... again, is to be devoured.... it means that you didn't have a fighting chance to defend yourself.......
Your sister,
Ginger,

dreams are a way for your subconscious mind to communicate to your conscious mind. a lot of times, your subconscious will take experiences you have, pick out little parts of concern about those experiences and present them back to your conscious mind when you're sleeping. but your subconscious doesn't always clearly communicate what it's trying to tell you. for instance, the lions probably represent something. but, the same dream could mean different things to different people. you should think about what the lions might mean to you, and why your mind might have used that imagery. did you spend some time with your family over the holidays? i could interpret this dream as my mind telling me i felt like i was being eaten by lions, which represent overbearing, vicious, attacking kinds of people. maybe your family members are the lions. did they jump all over you about something? maybe they asked you about school, work, when you're going to have some grandchildren, or more.... maybe in a way you felt as if you were attacked.

I've found that my dreams are my mind's way of sorting through the events and information I've been exposed to over the last few days. Kind of like mental outgassing, really - they're just fragments of what I've been up to, and often expressed in an odd way. I don't know whether your dreams are the same, but if they are, then maybe it's just related to something that you saw, said, read, watched, thought, experienced etc. in the days previous to the dream.
There's no universal dream code, I'm afraid. But an anxiety dream, like this one, probably indicates that you're worried about something. Whether that's directly or indirectly related to lions is something that only you will be able to tell us!

Usually Wild animals stand for danger ie dangerous people or passions. To dream of a lion represents Dignity, strength and courage and can represent ego and the feelings associated with it. Being eaten by the lions represents being attacked by our own or other peoples emotions and fears and being consumed by our basic carnal nature or by our internal drives. But being attacked indicates a fear of being under threat from internal or external emotions. I hope this helps!

All dreams are just that... Dreams. how come when we dream of money and hope it comes, it never does, but if its a bad dream we worry. just use the same perception of a good dream which you know never comes true anyway...you may have eaten too much meat that night.. I dream of lottery but I've not won yet...chill out and it may be that you need a safari to see the lions. plenty of them in Kenya by the way.

The lion is symbol of strength, power and courage. If you dream of fighting with a lion and win without being hurt or killed, you will be successful in your present struggle.A lion is also known as 'the king of the jungle',and as such, stands for the ego.The dream needs to be interpreted in the light of its outcome.Maybe your ego has been hurt........Merry Christmas.x

This probably means that you don't want to get eaten by lions and are a bit afraid. Don't be ashamed, a lot of people are afraid.
Dreams are simply your mind sorting out the files your mind has created over your life, it doesn't mean anything, it's not a premonition.

Lions = high authority people
Being attacked = being criticized
This could mean you have some sort of issues with some high authority people that you don't feel you have control over them. They could be parents, teachers, boss, cops and so on. You projected yourself being eaten to symbolize that there is something you can't do and you dream of it to vent out your helpless conscience

Dreams do not mean anything. They are the random wandering of the mind while conscious thought is suspended. Only fools and charlatans look for meaning in unconscious , free flowing randon images. As the saying goes, Wake Up!
