There are some fantastic ad-free hosts out there. I use http://www.webng.com/. The only drawback is that they don't allow free users to choose their own domain name and only allow them to work from a subdomain e.g. http://www.webng.com/yourname/

Once you're registered, do some research on using html and css to familiarise yourself with the basics of web-creation. Learn as you go...

If you want to get a professional site with all the trimmings, it's best to look for outside help. There are plenty of whiz professionals out there who'll hook you up with a fantastic site. :)

the simplest way is to host your website on yahoo. just check out the yahoo homepage where u can set up your website on geo cities. its simple and fun.
