It seems a washcloth is more of an Anglo-American thing ... a sponge is what most people use here

Depends what u washing off.
If (reason = regular daily)
{
use washcloth = true;
}
else
if (reason = washing somebody else off)
quick shower + barehands ) = quick exit.
