Today, I started to learn a new skill.

Everyone does things for the first time everyday, whether it is trying a new restaurant, food or going to work via a different route.

Is this the first time you have asked this particular question? It is the first time I am answering this question.

I try to do new things every day. Whether it is trying a new route to the store, a new nail color, moving furniture around, putting ur picture frames in a new order, shifting clothes in your drawer, it is VERY important to always be "new." While "same" = "safe" for many people (including myself), I have to keep things changing. Your brain can continue to "grow" and learn. It does that by connecting neurons to form new pathways. You form new pathways by keeping life fresh and interesting. More pathways mean more brain capacity. The brain does this most when we are children, and it becomes no less important as we age. In fact, so that we dont spiral into a pile of mush as old folks, we NEED to form more pathways. Soooo...short answer is, yes, every day I do something for the first time.
