It may be normal, but not healthy...when we cry we release some thing, not sure what they call it from our systems, sorry don't have the term in mind, but it is stuff that we NEED to release....that is why they always say we feel better after a good cry...so go rent the movie beaches, or the thorne birds...and ball your butt off....you will feel better after...LOL
I was never a crying type either but lately, they just flow...I am in such a happy place right now that I guess at some level I understand that it is normal and okay...
My parents spoil me terrribly, I got more than anyone should yesterday for Christmas, gave more too, but my dad who is a vet of the Korean war, (refuse to call it a conflict), gave me a picture of him on Veterans day holding a flag in his uniform (he is 80) and I lost it....had to leave the room...I don't think he had ever seeen me cry....!!!! Then he started to cry...but we all felt great after.....!!!!!
So go give yourself a good cry...it is healthy and gets out that thing I can't think of the name of in our bods that makes us sad....good luck...ps...bring tissues!!!!!

Well, if there haven't been any events in your life that are so sad or so joyous that you have had no need to cry, then I would not worry. Some people have a higher threshold for crying than others - I don't think that it is a sign of mental illness. Take care.

Perhaps. Has anything happened to you that should have caused you to cry? Some men do and some don't. The important thing is to not bottle up your emotions, because you will be a walking time-bomb. If you're grieving, sad, stressed, etc. find a healthy outlet to express your emotions.
