It sounds like a friendly gesture....she was feeling sick and had to walk home.....who wouldn't offer to give someone a lift under those circumstances!

may be he was trying to be sweet and hoping that one day when she feels better it may lead to something
may be the girl was only acting to be sick just to see what the guys does.
may be the girl didnt want the guy ti give a lift to the other girls.

I would be hopeful about there being more to it but don't assume this is the case. The guy may just be kind or he may like the girl - her certainly does not dislike her. I would wait and watch carefully for more signs but not leap to any conclusions.
Human relationships are complicated!

Does she know the guy? would the guy mind her bringing a friend along to make sure she got home ok? If not its not worth the lift and she should get a taxi.
