If you close the buttons or the zipper it won't be able to turn itself inside out. In any case, it's better to wash it inside out, the colours will stay fresh longer.

I turn mine inside-out before I wash them, and I fasten every other popper so it can't turn. When I put the cover back on my duvet I find it much easier to roll it down the duvet keeping hold of the corners.

Mine stay the right side out, but they eat the pillowcases, which always end up inside the duvet cover at the end of the wash.

Because you don't do the buttons or press studs up.

Duvets should be washed inside out anyway, a huge amount of fluff builds up in the corners, a breeding ground for all the bed bugs.

It doesnt matter why, what matters is that you learn from it and when you take it off, turn it inside out so that when it is washed it will turn itself the right way out.

it definitely relies upon on the way you place them in the wash. in my opinion, I shop it the suitable way out and fold it so that's waiting for me to dangle out to dry i.e. precise edges together then fold in 0.5 around the midsection and then fold the same returned. put in the device and it comes out exceptionally much the same and sparkling!! I in no way have a project with it this manner. It does not decide on ironing the two, no longer that I iron quilt covers! HTH! Laguna

When they are made, they are sewn "inside out" so they are just reverting to form. If you put one in the washer "inside out" it will stay that way.
Also, it's the washing machine's only chance to annoy you.
