It may not be indian but is a great site to make friends. You do have to create a virtual pet on it but you can ignore it like I do and just go on message boards, send neomail and other things.
you can also join a guild which has a message board
you may think this is a site for kids but it has originally created for bored collage people

well its not an indian one but very close to india ,www.druknet.bt , bhutanese penpals and some from around the world :)
