i am not shy in fact i am noisy at times. but when it comes to strangers i tend to feel timid about it, puleez help me become more friendly and more trustful to others...

Be yourself. Don't join in when others are talking about each other. Never give them anything to talk about you....then they will be able to justify their bad behavior if you become like them. Be kind to everyone and speak to others who may be feeling just like you. Remember: There is no excuse for rudeness.

Actually, I'm wondering why it's so important to be 'popular'? I think it's more important to set your own goals and standards, make good, true friends, and not worry about whether you're considered 'popular' or not.
