I felt lonely for part of the day because my husband had to go to work and also because it was just the two of us without any other family.

I have felt that in the past sooooo many times. I was alone for years and when my parents passed away nothing was the same. The past couple years have been with my fiance who is a joy in my life but I still miss my family and feel sad for others that have had bad things happen to them. I also feel sad for things I have lost in my life like my house. But Christmas is a time to care and give and all that and I am so fortunate not to be suffering like the climbers in Oregons families or things like that. I hope you did not feel lonely because someone comes along for everyone. Take this time in your life to prepare for it! Happy New Year..........this one will be good for you.....I am sure of it.

Nope, I was surrounded by family that I just love. We are all so very close that we just all love each others company. Nothing too fancy, just sat around and of course ate too much and visited. I got to see my little nephew(6mo. old)for the first time and my niece who I haven't seen in a while. That and getting to see family I haven't seen in awhile just made it special.
