This is a great Forum. Our grateful thanks to Yahoo! fpr tjos splendid service to us. I feel irritated to find people asking foolish questions and some are answering genuine questions with mockery and tantrum with out remaining silent if they have no capacity to answer which is most pathetic and hurts the questioner.

I think this Forum is in its inception so that intellectuals have not discovered its interesting feature. So invite your professional friends to join.

You're right this is a great forum! & thank you to Yahoo for having this! What a great distraction from the drudgery of work (in my case at least..)

The questions & answers that you find here are a reflection of our society. Like life, like anything else, there will be those that cherish it & show it respect, there will be those who take it for granted or mistreat it. Freedom of speech means everyone gets to have their say, even if all they have to say is something ridiculous. Some people may come here with genuine questions & a thirst for knowledge, others are here merely for amusement. When you ask a question you open yourself up to the whole gamut. People who will give you heartfelt, thought-provoking or interesting answers & others who won't even give an answer but just insult you or say something ludicrous. Others will ask nonsensical questions just to entertain themselves or to get a reaction out of others. Such is life and the world we live in! You just choose which to ignore and which to appreciate. As in life, fools seldom remain silent! Luckily the wise can also have their say... I'd like to think I fall somewhere between the wise and the fool (hopefully leaning toward the former!)

Don't sweat the small stuff!

:)

Rock on yahoo answers!

Patience is key, these people may have been facing a lot of stress recently. These people could be inappropriately using this forum as a way to release stress. Frankly, while there are better ways to vent ones anger, placing stupid questions on Yahoo! Ask or giving stupid answers is quite preferable to acts of abuse or worse.
An Internet forum does give access to a large amount of people you will never meet. If each person takes a small amount of their stupidity, then hopefully one person, probably close to them, won't have to take all of the abuse at once.
Of course, you could quite easily report abuse or down rank their question or answer, he he he...

Because this Forum is created by Yahoo to share knowledge by the wise as well as for morons who have nothing better to do. Perhaps we should suggest to Yahoo to separate the wheat from the chaff,or the rose from the thorns.

Look at your own two hands. Not all the fingers are alike. People are people and it takes all sorts of people to make up this world. Please remember Sieve, the gadget that lets the smaller unwanted particles to fall through the holes and retains only the grains.
Out of the answers you use your mental sieve and retain only those that are worth reading and contemplating. I am gald that , like me, you too are considering this meduim of exchange as really useful)

Once a monkey while roaming saw a girl comes out of the temple with a very fragrant flower ring (maala/haar) and he suddenly snatched it. Then he wat on a tree and slowly started to research on it. Thus, the girl lost it and she became more careful whenever she comes out of the temple. When we have two eyes, we do not care it, but to enjoy the outside beautiful world. Whe we lose one or both, (!). People cannot use this important useful forum in its deserving way of besides, they are not paying anything, but their leisure time only. I am nobody to give a solution, please.

A good question indeed. But there are always irresponsible people who derive joy in destruction of good things. It is for the users of this forum to rate such answers as bad and report abuse and reject them.

there's nothing like a foolish question or a foolish answer. one beings to develop a whole new perspective about various issues by reading such questions and answers. infact one should be appreciative about such things. afterall this is a forum to learn new things and new ways to answer or question the same things!

its like even a foolish question could be made worthwhile by answering it in a smart way…
so I guess even such question given a scope of exploring the imagination and hence improvement…
