The stupidity on yahoo answers is stunning.
It's normal.. he's a male. He has gland all over that area & on the inside of his thighs. It's to mark territory. They are very visable on the larger males, like mine. He is 7 ft and 15 yrs old. At his size, each gland is about the size of a pencil eraser.
Make sure he has water to soak in. It helps loosen the waxy stuff.. Esp now since it's the end of the iguana mating season.

.have you tried putting in Luke warm water.may need poo. but you should go to vets asp.you got some bad answers don.t lower your self like the other idiots. good luck

a number of the dept in all risk contaminated his eye. and he probaobly tried to atack you because of the fact a million. he thinks your gonna touch his eye or 2. he cant particularly see so he automaticly takes you as of project.
