ok i bought this ipod shuffle which plays mp3s and other files. i have connected this device to my computer, it automatically installs the software and you just drag and drop files onto the player to sync. i ddi this on xmas day and the songs were working but now they have disappeared, they wont play, tried to sync them again but they wont play still. i dragged them from windows media player 11, help please

what do you mean the control button on hold?

music isnt free to download off itunes from the apple website and plus i had windows media player files working on here yesterday and now they are gone

get yourself a free copy of itunes from apple's website,
i'm using Ipod shuffle too. and check if your control button is on the hold position. press and hold the play button for 3 sec to unhold

i had a shuffle till now yet now I actually have a nano yet i'm uncertain you spot i wade via fazes of artists so songs get performed persistently yet oftentimes the sturdy ones that are classics are performed returned as quickly as in a wile :)

You have to use iTunes. Download it from apple.com.
