it was pretty good. my favorite one is Book #3, the prisoner of azkaban.

anyways, there was a bit too much snogging in this book, as well as late entry of the Horcrux issue (harry has to find 4 horcruxes in book 7 AND kill voldemort!!)

but i liked horace slughorn, felix felicious, draco's attempts at killing D, snape's deepening involvement, and the horcrux ideas. can't wait til book 7!

My honest opinion? I love the series. J. K. Rowling is a very fun writer, she's got a good sense of humor, and I love most of the characters, Fred and George being my favorites, despite what they inadvertently caused in this last book - the sixth, which, unfortunately, was a bit of a let down. I read it, and enjoyed reading it, but when I reached the end I thought to myself... "But this just seems like a lead-up to the seventh." Which, yes, that's what it is. The seventh is the final book in the series. There will be no more after. So it makes sense to have the sixth kind of lead up to the seventh. But it just felt like too much of a lead up and not enough of a book in its own right. And I also don't like what happened to Dumbledore, though my sister and I have theories that it didn't really happen, that Snape is good at occlumency or however you spell it, so he made it look like what it looked like when it was really something else.
All in all, it's a fairly good book, and I can't wait to read the last one.
That is my honest opinion.

What do you really mean? It is a bit convoluted in order for Rowling to approach the last book. You think there are a lot of loose ends and suspense which will be revealed there. Now Harry not only has to look out for Voldemort, but Snape and Malfoy too. Its a good book.

Like a couple of people, it's my favorite book in the series. I cryed for two nights in a row. But now that Dumbledor is truly dead, Harry, Rons, Hermione, and Ginny must help find the horcruxes.

I think it's one of the most maturely written books in the series.
