the chances of Sonia accepting the post of prime minister are bleak.not because of her foreign origin as she became Indian citizen and i feel she is as patriotic as other political buffoons of India. if congress party secures majority without depending on other parties, she may take up Pm's post. or she may sacrifice that post to her daughter priyamka who has more charisma and looks like her grandma Indira Gandhi.

She will never take over as PM. She would like her Son Rahul Gandhi to have it. Sonia as PM will create chaos in every mind of Indian and it wil have a bad effect on Rahul's image which she definitely will not like.
But its true that she will have a power over PM and country's politics till she will engage herself in it. Her ideas are not short term but with long determination. Doesn't looks interesting.

When Indians get fed up with their own Indians and Learn to say, YES MADAM, NO MADAM, like in the times of the RAJ.
Indians like to live in the past even after fighting for self rule, they imposed a foreigner to control India.
I guess Indians have run out of loyal and clever Indians to take charge.
Also Dynastic politics paly a large role in India, unlike any other part of the World, except USA and we know what a mess USA is in now.

Brother, it was alright for her to put all sort of annoying Qs to the Centre when she was in opposition. But now that she is in the Treasury side, it is best that she does not rake up annoying issues in haste which would only strain the relationships with Centre and affect the interests of the State! After all, it is known that Raja was deposing in a court as an accused and his versions can not be taken as a fact by itself. He is not that dependable! Even if there is substance in the complaint, the law would take its course in ''its own way'' (Read: cbi route)! Is she not withdrawing the complaints on her by the previous govt in courts, after assuming office?! Sonia and Singh would not be let down by the cbi at any cost till end of their term! It is wasteful to play an unwise game by the CM. The unwanted haste is to show herself as a bold lady questioning the national rulers, before her party men and admirers, which is most ill advised. Ms Sonia and Dr Singh should be used for maximum benefit of State people now that they are in problems and would offer to help the state in the event of smooth relationship. For, they would also need the help of MPs in the event of DMK breaking off! This is not the time to play much politics for her. She should leave all this to Karuna who is unemployed now and herself concentrate on administration shrewdly taking advantage of the situation! But who would tell her? Would she listen?

I don't think she will do that.Rahul gandhi has already established himself in the field, which is evident from his participation in UP polls. But i beleive that the gandhi family is not fortunate enough to sit at the top post.

This situation arised before, and under immense pressure from the BJP and other parties, Sonia declined the offer of P.M.
I don't think she will accept this offer ever again...even if she did, the BJP will NEVER allow her...
In my opinion she should not be allowed to become P.M, she is a foreigner, and our constitution does not allow a foreigner to become our P.M.
Mai nahi kehta..kitabon mey likha hai yaro...

Just about as soon as the spineless Indian voters decide that they need to be ruled by a foreigner again!!
After all, the Mughals and the Brits have put the average Indian in a servile mode that is not easy to get out of!!
Cheers!
