I have been to Iran many times and actually bought an apartment in Tavanir area last year. I have noticed that the dress code started to change a lot. For me it is a bit hard to understand because the government is radical islamic but especially the young women's dressing getting more European. Head scarfs are about to go off, because I noticed that they are only hanging down from back. Most of the hair is showing out. But that is only Tehran. I am talking about the head scarf because that is the things giving me hard time on every visit.

I do not think that everyone agrees with the current government's policy, then again this is not unique to Iran. On a more personal level, I think that Iran has a both a very rich culture and a very rich history. I think it is a pity that some people think that every Iranian thinks like President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Okay our goverment sucks but every country has its fault. Why would you feel sorry for the people in Iran? Iran is always shown as a country in chaos but if you actuly go there its ALOT diffrent infact people are always smiling and their always happy, its like a land of happiness, more bright and coulerfull then the grey atmosphere of london. Despite some problems in womans rights Iran has more freedom for women and men then any other middle eastern country, more women are in University then men and tend to progress into a life full of excellent careers such as medicine. so what the western media think of iran is actuly a load of bullshit that president bush made to use as a propaganda tool

Well I have only been in on the tarmac at the airport in Tahran but I was a little surprised how run down things looked. Other than that I must say it is somewhere me and my husband hope to visit one day. All the Iranians I have ever met seem pretty cool and I would love to see some of the ruins there. I think the government seems a bit strict islamic but none of the people I have met reflect that.
