I am new to the field if IT Security & want to go for some certification.Can you please tell me what's the difference between BS7799 and ISO 27000 certification and which one is better. Apart from that how much each of them cost and is it possible to do it online,if yes suggest some ways???

Many of British Standards were transformed to ISO standards. Same goes for BS7799 and ISO 27000 (see http://www.induction.to/bs7799/).
Implementing any quality model (including these standards) into your business will improve it. In real life, you will not see any difference between them. If you're not British, then ISO.
