I will give you two stocks I own: Energy Conversion Devices, ENER, they make solar panels, batteries for hybrid cars, a new type of computer memory, and a hydrogen storage system. Here is a link about their business:

I also like Tower Tech, TWRT.ob, they make wind tower support structures. The CEO just came out and said they are going to have a great quarter. This one is risky but offers the chance for big gains. Here is a link on it:

These links are from http://www.top10traders.com - this is a free site that lets you create a portfolio of stocks with $100,000 in "play" money. Each day the site ranks the best performing portfolios, so you can see how your picks perform compared to other investors.

Good luck.

Don't know what the hottest stock is NOW, but I know where I wish I had been. :-( I've been following Advanced Plant Pharmaceuticals, Inc., appi.ob, for literally months, and didn't buy into it. I had about $2000 at the very beginning of October which I decided to invest in Airtran which turned out to be a good choice, but in comparison to what I could have had....appi recently announced a couple of new partnerships, and that they are getting involved in some new lines of business. The stock, which had traded as low as $0.0005 shot all the way up to $0.0145 from the middle of October to the end of November. Now, it has come back a good bit, but it is still trading at just over half a cent per share. So, if I had bought 2 million shares at about 0.0009 which is when I was considering this purchase, at a price of $1800 altogether, had I sold it at $0.01, I would have had a cool $20,000. But as I said, I didn't buy it. I'm currently trying to search out other stocks in the same sector with similar properties that attracted me to appi in the first place (current intellectual property with a product or two based around it with prospects for more of the same even if the company isn't profitable yet, and they also have to have an EPS of greater than -$0.05 for me to seriously consider such an investment), but I'm not finding a lot that really turns me on. :-(
