get an eyelash curler
http://images.glow.com/catalog/500030/300x300/4825.jpg
you put it up to your lashes and squeeze it together (see the little lever thing on the left) don't squeeze too tight. just tight enough that it's grasping your lashes. hold it there for 10 seconds, then do the other eye.
then get an eyelash comb (these double as an eyebrow comb as well. and they're cheap)

comb your lashes and seperate them, then grab your mascara and gently wipe any excess mascara off the brush onto a tissue or rag. (this should eliminate clumping)
then place it at the base/root of your eyelashes starting at the inside of the eye (closest to nose), wriggle it lightly, then glide upwards. repeat, moving outwards until you've got all your lashes.
then comb your lashes once more to remove any clumps.
repeat on the other eye.
hope i helped :)

Don't use maybelline, it might not work for your eyelashes. DON"T use an eye lash curlere. Its not worth it. Your eyelashes never go back to normal again, if you really want to then follow th tips from other people. You can get good mascara at Channel, Dior, or the Lo'real one, the double sided one that you put on two layers of.
When you use mascara, to get the perfect look use a little, and dont take dabs of it. if your a right handed person, then its easier for you to do your right one then your left one. I don't think it can be possible for your eyelashes to get tangled, but if they do, then just sraighten them out with the brush. if its too thick, then just dab your eye-lashes on a cotton-bud.
Hope I helped ya!

attempt warming the curlers first (no longer too warm!) with a blowdryer for a sprint extra carry, and get a lengthening mascara particularly than curling or volumizing, because of the fact the different 2 are too heavy. additionally, non-water-resistant mascara has a tendency to be much less sticky. My prominent, when you consider that my blonde lashes particularly in basic terms decide on some color and that i've got gentle eyes, is the Neutrogena Lash Tint. It does not upload any goo yet has a great type of color. additionally, in no way attempt to curve once you place on mascara! All it does is mash each thing up. in case you definitely need curl, yet are having hardship with curlers, attempt going to Sephora or a branch save like Gottchalks. they have powerful human beings, unfastened samples, and that's definitely worth spending a sprint extra beneficial funds on a single (and probable extra high priced) product you like, particularly than working around the cheap stuff and not getting what you opt on.

I use my right hand for my right eye and my left hand for my left eye. If I try to use my right hand to do my left eye it's turns out bad. Vice versa for my left hand.
I have naturaly curly eyelashes, I don't have to use a curler.

Just practice.... swipe the brush on the tube ( to remove excess) before applying to your lashes. I am a redhead, very sensitive with makeup, and, for both cost and quality, I use Loreal.... :))
