Yes, only a doc can say with near 100% certainty whether she is or not. She would not be showing any 'symptoms' a week after in most cases. I would recommend you both do some research on a woman's cycle, when pregnancy is most likely and how to prevent pregnancy because from your question it sounds like you do not know enough and worry because of that fact.
She probably is not feeling well - so she is moody, and has a UTI - so she has a backache. Nothing more, but you never know.
Good luck, HTH

Even having sex with protection it isn't 100% full proof. I am sure that the reason for her back pain is because of her bladder infection. I have had them before and they are painful they cause your back to hurt and when your in pain you are going to be in a foul mood. It sounds like your going to worry about your girlfriend all the time since her periods are irregular. When I was 17 I was the same way and had to go on a birth control pill to regulate them. It may be better if she talks to her Dr. about getting on a b.c. to help keep her from getting pregnant and then she will always get her period on time. But,if she does then make sure you still use a condom so that will. protect against any other types of diseases. Also, if has only been a week since you have had sex and she wouldn't experience any type of pregnancy symptoms right now anyway since it would have to be about a month later that she would experience something and that would most likely be just a positive pregnancy test. I am sure things are fine just wait about 3 weeks and if she doesn't get her period then, get a hpt but, her chances are good that it was just the UTI

Of course its possible as no contraception is 100% but if she has already been to the doctor and found out she has a UTI, then its properly not, She should see about getting on the pill or something to help regulate her period as well as using condoms during sex this will still not make it 100% but it will be safer and you will have more confidence in preventing pregnancy. A blood test will confirm a result from pregnancy after 2 weeks from contraception so that's 4 weeks after her period and when her next period is due. Best of luck. If your still worried ask if its OK if you accompany her to the doctor and ask the doctor all the questions you have.
Hope this has helped.

id say if you used a condom, its very unlikely shes pregnant.its also very unlikely she would be having any pregnancy symptoms after 1 week although some ppl may experience morning sickness, the likes of backpain and so forth are usually experienced in later term that 1 week.i wouldnt stress but if you are still conserned then get her tested.you can buy kits from the chemist for around $10 and they are pretty reliable.sounds like you need to take more care to ensure this kind of thing doesnt happen.its too risky these days, not just because of pregnancy but there are so many stds out there and once you have the likes of aids...its too late.

Yes. Condoms, Diaghrams, Pills, Creams, Foams, and Rhythm methods are not 100 percent effective. The only real means of protection is unfortunately, Abstinence.
It is not uncommon for UTI's to lead to back pain. The kidney's, and ureters can ache really badly. The good thing is they can treat the UTI with antibiotics, like Ciprofloxacin or "Cipro".

I have been using condoms for 15 years and have never become pregnant by them. Of course we use the expensive brand and pray they never are faulty because you can get pregnant even if your mate uses a condom, one little hole or tear is all it takes.
Still its way too early to start worrying especially if she has irregular periods. She can get a blood test to find out for sure.

You can still get pregnant wearing a condom. They are not 100%. I think you should either buy a pregnacy testing kit from the chemists or better still have another visit to the doctor telling him of the possibility of pregnancy.

Yes, of course it's possible. Condoms are never 100% foolproof. The only way to make sure she doesn't get pregnant is to not have sex. Ever.

You think that you was the first who had done sex with her, but may be this is not true.
She may be involved in sex with some one else also
or
May be there was a cut in condom.
Please check that condom.
Don't take tension and use abortion process.
