I think sex is appropriate when you and the other person are responsible adults. Like using condoms or birth control if you don't want pregnancy and to prevent STD's. So if your too stupid to use protection that then you shouldn't be having sex.

It's really only appropriate for you to have sex only if you are married. Age has nothing to do with it. Sex is a big thing and it comes with maturity and responsibility. Not everyone can handle the emotional baggage that comes with. Not everyone is ready. There are also alot of risk that comes with too. You should really only have sex with some one who loves you and who you trust, but even then you don't have to do it. You can just be intimate. It would be best to wait until you married,or if you have a really serious relationship(not puppy or kiddie love) that way you know that person you are with really loves you, and you know your not being used and things like that. Keep in mind that once you sleep with somebody your souls become connected( forever), that may be why many women or girls feel more connected to their lover after sex. And also your body is a temple , treat it well and respect and cherish it. Only give it to some one who deserves you. I just told you all of this because your asking a question about age and sex, so i know your young. Dont be in a rush to have sex, wait until you ready.

According to society, Age of Consent - which is about 16 for most of the Western Hemisphere nations. Not a horrible benchmark, and 16 can hardly be considered unrealistic in terms of making sure a person has the necessary mental awareness to go with the physical readiness. In reality, it is a very personal choice for any individual to make - some are younger, and some are older. It's not set in stone, and it's not like anything falls off if you don't use it by a given age.
My belief is that mid- to late-teens is about right, but this is based on the idea that teens are given the preparation necessary to make responsible choices about their behaviour. Rather than scaring the **** out of teens about sex, you give them the facts and some opinions from an "adult's" perspective and hope they make the right choices for themselves...

Its all in the mind.
When ever you think you are responsible enough to cope with having to give up a part of yourself you can have sex.
Sex is not only physical but has a lot of mental and emotional element. It is important to be aware of all aspects and issues before having sex.
The person who you share your body and a part of your soul for the first time has to be worth it. It is an experience to be enjoyed and your first time is to be always remembered.
So don't waste yourself for a quick run in the hay.
Think it over , decide and if you are ready go for it or else let the feeling pass and if unsure today you will regret it.

There's no specific age limit that is set in the book of "When 2have sex..... Don't be late!" Use common sense, if you have 2question it then chances are you're probably not ready. My 1st thought though really is that the older the better. Our perception of things is always different the younger & less experience we have

these days, uhmm i know someone have sex with her b/f and she only 14.
i think that question is for yourself and is not about appropriate, is about what is sex to you, is just activity, or something really important and you want to do it with someone u really trust.
cause i know some people as is now, they do it because they need it on regural basis, such as weekly or every other days, with friends ,people they know.
so again for them sex is just activity they enjoy to do, again how about for you?
is that how u see sex or else?

Humans are ready for sex at puberty, but those that are civilised and humane, wait until marriage to consumate their marriage and it makes it more special and memorable.
Dont give in to peer pressure, Virgin Power-Virgin Pride.
"No" means "No", make that clear, u shal not be forced into anything you dont wish to do.
When ure ready, u'll know!!!
