i wish you luck, its going to be expensive but just take your time and find a good modeling program. sometimes i rush a mesh out and end up disliking it, only thing i'll do at that point is add a enviromental blur filter. 3d modeling can take lots of time.

i'm not your teacher but you should collect textures pictures in bmp format or what ever you perfer. i sometimes wish i had an old texture i saw on the street but didnt take a picture of. so many help full plug in that do so much of the work but keep mesh modeling to stay sharp.
