What happen to Pete on Smallville?
Why did he move, was it the FBI

he couldnt handle the pressure of knowing clarks secret. He almost slipped a couple of times, and the fbi was on to him. so he moved with his mother.

End of season 3 Pete moved to Wichita with his mom after his parents separated.
The FBI agent who was on Lionel's Payroll suspected Pete knew Clark's secret and was beating a confession out of him when Lex stopped it and gave the Fed evidence to put Lionel in Jail which the guy took, because Lex threatened to report him for his abuse of Pete.
When Clark met up with him later Pete confessed how hard it had been keeping his secret, and said goodbye. it scared Clark out of sharing the secret with Lana before she left for Paris.
As to the behind the scenes reasons for his departure I assume, that the actor was tired of being little more than the "token black guy". also it was with season 4 that Lois, and Jason were added to the cast.

He moved to wichita to because his mom became a federal judge, also he said he didnt know if he could keep clarks secret if he staid in smallville.
Man i know way more than i need to know about this show, lol.

when you consider that his mom and dad have been given a divorce he went to stay along with his mom someplace i think of city yet i dont no y clark can flow to lana there yet not pete and he can flow to miami in like 5 seconds yet to not flow to his appropriate chum... nicely i observed him on 2 episodes of csi las vegas

No, his mom was a judge and she got a bench at the state capital.
