I love him, we have kids, things have been rough ging, but the worst is his inability to say,"Dont talk likethta to my wife." Why? Any one married to a guy that doesnt defend your honor, how to cope?

I dated a guy like that once, but I dumped him after 8 months of dating because I knew I deserved better. Since I don't think you should divorce your husband, I think the problem may be that he has low self-esteem and is afraid of conflict, so he just says nothing. You two could use some counceling, but let's be real... that's expensive. I think you should talk to him about it. If anything else, you'll just have to stand up for yourself.

Also, I think you guys need to hang around more mature people. I'm 24 and I don't know of any of my peers that "make fun" of others. If they did, I'd tell them to GROW UP!

I had one just like that and it sucked! if you notice I'm talking past tense! I guy I have now won't ever let anyone put what I have to say down or tease me because I'm so nice and I don't feel alone or left out anymore. The thing that pissed me off most was I was really smart about what I was answering but because I was a woman and knew what I was talking about that would embares some people mostly men because women shouldn't know how to fix or do those things but I did! I always proved myself right but at that time I could have used a little help from my ex who was insucure about himself and had no backbone at all to even stick up for me which all in all looked like an assh--- after everything was said and done because I was right! I say loose the JERK cause he'll always be just a little man with no backbone trying to make you look like what he IS already! It hurts what he does HUH! look at him next time with your hand up to your forhead making the letter L with your had and say nothing "he gonna say so what does that mean" if he's so smart he'll figure out that it means Loooosssser (loser) funny huh! anyway I think I just vented about my ex! good luck sunnydays

Get yourself a real man. Just kidding! Talk to him about how you feel, maybe he will listen; and begin to understand how this bothers you. The next time this happens, he might stand up for you honor as you put it. You never know. Tell him.

Do you stand up for yourself? Maybe your inability to stand up for yourself lets your husband lose respect for you. Don't take crap from anyone. And your husband may just be a wiener who is afraid of conflict either that or he agrees with the comments. How does he treat you?

Maybe you don't stand up for him. Think about what you do for him before you criticize what he doesn't do for you. Maybe you're not doing anything for him, so he's not doing anything for you. Maybe you don't stand up to other people when they are making fun of your husband. Either way, you should really take a good look at yourself and make sure that you are not encouraging this kind of behavior.

Ultimately, that is part of the reason that I ended up divorced. A man needs to defend his woman's honor. Try talking to him, if he is unresponsive, leave. You deserve better.

have a good talk to him and ask him why he does not bother when people makes fun of you. he may think that you do not mind the insulting words people say. tell him you do not like them and ask him to defend you.

Move on. Was he like this when you got married. Sit down and tell him how you feel! If that doesn't work divorce him! What kind of husband is he anyway!

Stand up for yourself and demand respect. No one will treat you badly unless you let them.
