I work part-time at a radio station and I am trying to get the full-time guy's job. I am better at the job than he is (if only because I pay attention to the show and care about how it sounds). The show is overnights so none of the management sees us perform. If I had his job I would have a much higher salary, vacation time, weekends off, benefits. (as oppossed to working every holiday). The question is how can I get him fired without anyone really knowing that I had anything to do with it. Anybody have any good plans?

Don't even think about it. If you can get him fired and become his replacement, someone else will presumably sooner or later manage to do the same to you.

Apply for a job similar to his at another readio station. And keep on applying for jobs elsewhere. If you really are as good as you say, word will get around.

Make it known to your own management that you'd like to develop your career and go full-time. Make clear that you've ideas you would like to develop and build on the experience you've gained. Ask them to bear you in mind for any full-time position that might become available.

Get them high just before a drug test, or record them slandering a supervisor, turn the others against them with rumors (or facts), sabotaging their work in a convincing, albeit deviously convincing matter so they are not above suspicions.

Get him to say a racial epithet on the air. It's just plain evil but it just might work.

As him to go out drinking with you and when he's good and drunk push him in front of a truck.
