got a job offer that is 2 hours away from my home, I can not move closer to the job because of splitting custody of my little girl so moving is out of the question. I do not have a job currently, but afraid that this will be a big bite out of my day(4 hours drive time) The pay is ok, not great.

I'd look closer to home. I worked four years at a job 38 miles from my home. I didn't mind so much because the entire drive was down a long back road (entirely through farm and wildlife refuge areas). Still it got old. Odds increase dramatically of an accident the more the distance one has to drive, and making that drive so much, you are bound to get inattentive from the monotony of the drive sooner or later. Take the job only until you find something else. Or maybe you could keep your current residence and rent a very small apartment where you work so that you don't have to make the drive every day. Maybe on days you stay "up there" (instead of coming home) you could put in some overtime (if you get paid for such in your line of work).

If it pays good money wake up earlier and go to work cuz right now you don't got no money and you need it to take care of your sweet pea. Whenever you have enough money and experience up your sleeves then you can find another job which will probably pay good. But as my mom always says "If you want good your nose will have to run." Nothing comes easy in life okay remember that!
