what do i feel when its labour pain ? i m 37 weeks pregnant in india. today i m feeling back ache like menses pain, is it labour pain or something else., i dont understand . And how can i judge ,its time to go to hospital ?

call your doctor or your local labor & delivery unit (perferablly where you will be giving birth)....and explain this to them...they deal with it every single day...and would probably be a better judge of rather or not you are in labor...and when you should make the trip to the hospital...

They start out similar to menses pain, but, they will come and go, when the pains become regular and 4 to 5 minutes apart, it is time to go to the hospital.

it could be, I had a lot of back pain with my 1st one but you should speak to a mid-wife or Dr. Are there any pains that you can time (contractions)? If they are a few minutes apart prepare to deliver and speak to medical staff quickly. God Bless.

first the water will broke and you be flooded with fishy smelling liquid. backache is not part of labor pain lah. if still unsure call your gynae to ask - after all they charge for it rite

if its getting intense then go to the doc. quickly
