Any tips on making a good first impression on my new friends??

Just be yourself. be cool and calm. dont be nervous. it is not that tough making friends you know??? i am sure you will have loads of friends. i wish you luck :) be careful while choosing your friends though.

Yes....keep a low profile for a month or so until you are sure your new friends are really "friends". Get involved in volunteer work and social activities. But lay low for a little while and observe the lay of the land, so to speak. THEN, invite everyone you really enjoy to your place for a relaxed afternoon. Good luck!
