I'm not looking for a simple answer like "he's stupid."

Hate is an irrational emotion which defies logic. I have seen many people who claim to hate the president. They will use vile statements like stupid, terrorist, liar, etc. When challenged some will change course and say well we don't like his policies. To not like something is more rational and honest. I do not like some of Mr. Bush' policies, but then I never like all the policies of any administration. I am not sure what drives the hate as I don't share it and with hate you cannot really understand it if you don't practice it. One thing I am sure of though is that it is deeply rooted in ideology and the belief that no matter what Mr. Bush does it will be bad.

He's screwed up all this and more. Hate is a strong word, but I can honestly say he has angered me more than any other politician I know of. It's not just a "he's a republican" thing, since I actually do like some of them. Heck, Bobby Jindal is a good congressman, and he's a Republican.

Hate is a strong word. I can't say that I hate anyone. I am definitely a liberal, however, I do not HATE anyone in Washington or anywhere else. Like it or not, these people are our leaders for the time being. I do not agree with the war. (I agreed somewhat (very little, but somewhat) at first, but it has been too long with no progress) I do not agree with amendments to the constitution that discriminate against anyone. I do not agree with the current social security debate or tax decrease or increase proposals/plans (none of which I believe will work to the country's' benefit).

He has started a war that did nothing but waste tax payer money in the billions and lost over 3000 American lives.
He has refused to abide by national law by signing and passing numerous documents which were constitutionally incorrect.
He and congress have funded apartheid regimes like Israel.
He has absolved congressional power and created a gestapo-esque agency called homeland security.

And the list goes on...

This question has been asked so many times. Just look around at the state of affairs in the world and at home. And if your not blind you will make the same conclusions as to why so many Americans hate him....Republican and Democrat alike.
