If there were a life after death it would make sense to die because if you live good in the present life you will be rich and happy in the next. Plus you get to do all the good things twice!!!

Different kind of life. In life after death you don't have a body. Your soul leaves your body on earth, you either go to Heaven or Hell. Purgatory for the Catholics out there.

Because of Adam and Eve, our bodies became corruptible and no longer were we free from sin and perfect.
When we rise again to our new lives (either as faithful children of God or Wicked servants of Satan) our bodies will be incorruptible.

At least when we're dead we will be immune to sadness/anger/depression.
