The Beta is free...unless you access it through a POP client such as Outlook. Then you have to pay for the POP access.

Yes mail beta on Yahoo! is for free now mail beta is better than the old one cos never used it that many times!

The new Yahoo Beta Mail is free to use. Just click on the switch to beta link and you will get the mailbox in the new Beta format. You can click on the Switch Back link to switch to the old mail box format any time.
