I owe 160 dollars before I can register for next semester at college. I have an Mp3 player that my aunt bought me for christmas... I'm also getting an Ipod worth 200 dollars. Should I keep the Ipod, or the Mp3 player and pay for my school with it?

I have an mp3 player that I just got for christmas, worth about 70 dollars. I'll be getting an Ipod in a couple of days worth 200 dollars or the 200 dollars, depending if my grandmother cooperates. I owe 160 dollars before i can go back to school next semester. What should i do? Keep the ipod or the mp3 player? I only have like 30 dollars right now.

Why don't you apply for scholarships and student loans? If you are working hard to make it through college, you should not have to sell anything. Go to your financial adviser. There are ways to help you and you deserve it; just pay back all loans after graduation and do not apply for anything but loans advised by your college.

U can do either of the below:
1. Sell yr toys
2. Tell yr grandma or whoevers that gives u the toy that you'd prefer $ to pay for yr school fees
3. Work harder by taking up another job
4. PRAY

But whatever u do, do not drop out of school and do not do anything illegal or immoral else yr education is worthless.

Maybe you should just keep the toys and drop out of school. If your school has not proven to you the greater value of education as compared to an electronic gadget then it's pointless for you to go there anyway.

Don't get the iPod if you're the one that's buying it. You should return it. Education is valuable. When you have a good education, you can have a good job, and then buy all types of stuff, so don't worry about it.
