well in my opinion its not really the best first date location, mainly because u cant really talk while your ina theatre, and ona first date you wana get to know the person , maybe over some coffee or ata restaurant would be more suitable for the situation.

The movies are safe and make both feel secure. They are entertaining and the first step to get to know the likes and dislikes of the other person.

Because it's a good ice breaker, you can watch the movie and feel comfortable around each other, and it also creates dialog after the movie.

because if you end up not liking them theres a reason you dont talk, the movies on. you can get to know them enough to know whether you like them but not have uncomfortable silences
