I'm really confused! My friend once said Hentai is the relationship between a girl and a boy in anime that has some nudity scenes in it. Is it true? So, does that means Yaoi isn't Hentai? Is there any difference to Anime?

hentai is anime/manga with explicit sexual content, it could contain boys/girls, or even monsters, tentacles, bestiality, and so on. La Blue Girl is one title to mention.
Not to be mistaken with ecchi, which has slight sexual content, but more innocent like, such as Ats! Megami-sama.
yaoi is more specific; it is boy/boy manga/anime with graphic/explicit sexual content. it is not to be mistaken with shonen-ai or Boys Love (BL) which usually only contain fluff or romance between boy and boy.
the female counterpart of yaoi is called yuri. which is girl/girl.

Hentai is anime with explicit nude/sexual scenes, involving straight relationships. Yaoi is basically the same except it applies to gay boys. I think your idea of Yaoi is actually Shounen-ai, which is plain gay without the sexual scenes. However most fans actually refer Shounen-ai to Yaoi prolly cause it's easier to remember. Also, some anime have a tiny bit of nudity, those aren't really Hentai, but i won't confuse you with it. ^_^

hentai is porn.... it also means pervert....it is also sex videos....anything that shows someone (preferably a guy and a girl) naked...
anime on the other hand....is anime that has no nudity.... it may have sexual comments or someone who is a perv (like Jiraiya of Naruto).... but....if all the 'parts' are covered then it is just anime

theyre both anime....and yaoi is a relationship, it may or ay not be a relationship filled with sex....

Hentai, is simply heterosexual PORN. Most people use the word Yaoi for Boy X Boy Porn. Shounen-ai means boys love and is just Boy X Boy romance. However, i just generalise and say all male / male relationships is Yaoi. Yuri is Girl X Girl and Shoujo-ai is like Shounen-ai 'cept with girls.

hentai is also anime but it contains sexual stuff in it.
anime is just normal animation like rurouni kenshin, naruto...... and doesn't contain any adult stuff =D
