I like Betty better. She doesn't take Archie for granted. She's sweet and kind. to all, not just some. She understands that Archie doesn't have a lot of money, so is satisfied with just renting a movie or watching tv with him.

Betty - you've gotta love the girl next door.
Plus, Betty is more down-to-earth; I remember one time Veronica went off her rocker because her favourite lipstick had turned 3 shades darker and took it out on Archie. Betty would never do that.
Betty accepts Archie for who he is, whereas Veronica occasionally has problems with his wealth (or lack of).
It has to be Betty, and the comic makers know it - why else would they print Betty's diary, not Veronica's?
Besides, even Veronica's father knows she is a horrible cook:
Archie: Veronica's making a home-cooked meal for me!
Mr Lodge: Why? Did you do something to offend her?
Veronica: Oh, Archie! I'm almost finished!
Mr Lodge: And so are you, lad!!
Veronica is high maintenance, and comes with an extra helping of ego - not a huge helping, but just a little bit more. Betty is more creative (what else would you call a woman who made a sculpture with noodles and hairspray?), more down-to-earth, and (IMHO) more fun.

Betty's nice and sweet and all, but Veronica is ultra cool. My name was Veronique in French class in 10th grade.

Betty because the good girl always get the guy in the end. Atleast in the fairytales, comics, tv and movies. Bad girls don't make good wives.

i think i would say betty is so much better because she is real and i can identify to her but deep down i guess i would like to be like veronica , rich , pretty, and all that stuff
