Depends on what part of California and what type of Asian Couple you are. California is the second friendliest place towards asians in The United States. Only Hawaii is better. This is because Asians are the majority. If you are worried, live among your own culture. I have experienced extreme racism, many came from people born outside the state. Orange county can be bad, but it has improved in the last couple of decades. Its dependant on what part of Orange County. In LA, the East side is Friendlier to Asians than the west side, but there is Japanese colonies in the west. San Francisco is friendly, but it depends on which nationalities. The Chinese can be a problem more than the Caucasian in this city, but it is very minor compared to other regions. THey tend to be snooty to other asian groups . Berkeley is very bad due to resentment against Asian dominance in the college. Silicon Valley has similar problem of resentment of people of asian descent, but its a lot better than Berkeley. In the less urban areas, you may feel isolated. A Friend who is asian complained to me that California is too cliquish, and I agreed. The racist don't integrate as much as one wants.

We have had a Large Asian population in California for 150 years
Chinese and Japanese for the most part and for the last 40 a large Southeast Asian one. Not to worry.

asians get cold easily.. it would be easier to adapt to the weather in califonia compared to other states.. and california is like a united nations place.. its easy to feel at home coz you would always find someone with same culture background..

if you're rich enough to live in california, which means you don't have to worry about your living when you live there, it should be a good place to stay, where else is better than california, good weather, friendly people, not boring, if you can afford, california is the perfect place to stay.
