the dryer on the hottest setting always shrinks my clothes (especially when i forget its drying and leave it on all night)
and its terrible because it goes from like a normal size to an extra extra small and looks like a childs top.

Yeah you did the best you can, thats all you can do to shrink your clothes, now if you can't afford to go buy new ones is the reason you so desperately want to shrink them, then how about having them taken in, like at a dry-cleaner. Good Luck!

No hun, that will not do it from weight lost. The clothes they make nowadays shrink very littlle to none at all. Keep your big clothes in the back of your closet and start replacing them with clothes that fit. You don;t have to buy them all at once. That is too expensive for anybody. Hope I have helped.

washing in hot water and drying on high heat. if that dont work you could take them in by sewing them if they are worth the time, effort or $ if you really like the article of clothing or you will have to buy new clothes.

Been there done that...

Nothing will work if you tried the hot water and dryer thing already. Simply sew them up in the sides (called : taking them in). I did this to all my jeans after losing weight and I saved $$$.
