Does he really live up there in the North Pole? What does he do the rest of the year? Isn't he a lonely person? Does he wait and wait for this time of the year like little kids do? What's his personality like? In the sense, what does he like to eat? And, why isn't he married?

He is married to Mrs. Claus. He is not lonely or bored because he has tons of elves working in the toy shop. He spends the year getting ready for next Christmas. He is a very busy man! He sure does love Christmas, though!
