try to be detached.
that means, try to solve it not for urself, but is if u r solving it for someone else.
it works for me.

Try to think around the problem and all of the solutions.

Try making a list of the possible outcomes and the pros and cons of each. Think how each decision will affect you and others.

weight up the pro's and cons.
Look at the decision from more than one viewpoint.
Have someone who is on the outside looking in give you their advice on the situation.
Once you've made up your mind, stick to it, usually the first decision is the best one.
