I was baking and I guess I got a little oil got onto my T-shirt and when I threw it in the wash the stain was still there. So I washed it a second and once again it was still there. And yes I know like dissolves with like.

rub a little Dawn on the grease spot, but not too much or you will have a sudzy mess.

I always keep a bottle of Era or Whisk on my laundry shelf for stains such as these. A tide stain brush works wonders also. Do not dry the garment anymore and let it soak with the detergent on it for at least 24 hours. It can even dry with the detergent on it. Hand wash and hold up to the light to see if you can see the stain. Baking soda in a paste should also absorb a fresh oil stain, but since you have already washed...

After washing the shirt twice, the stain may be set permanently, but you might try a product called "Simple Green" which is in the laundry/cleaning aisle at the supermarket. It comes in a bottle and is a great degreaser.

Next time, deal with spots and stains before washing, especially in hot water, which can "set" stains, or in other words, make them permanent.

you can try Carbona for oil it's in a little yellow bottle. Longs you haven't dried the shirt in the drier you might be ok. otherwise you've already set the spot in the shirt for good.

Stop! do not wash them yet.
1st spot treat with 100% full strenght pinesol, let it work and than safely wash them the normal way.
