Do both!

To say it is 'either or' is crazy. You must do both. Study hard but study smart or your hard study won't do much good at all.

Hi friend! To get CGPA 10 in CBSE is not one of the toughest thing to do in the world nowadays and that's because of CCE! If you read your NCERT textbooks well for all subjects and practice from R.D.Sharma Maths a bit, you are bound to get CGPA 10! Also, I think, besides studying for school exams, you better start studying some extra books for higher classes which will owe you big time afterwards, believe me. But remember, not ignoring school exam preparations. Good luck bro!

i think studying smart is better because your success in studies does not depend on how hard or how long you study. it all depends on how smart you are and how smartly you take your studies. i have seen some students having loads of books in there study tables having went through all the books still they do not show good performance in there exams while i have seen students who are study smartly and hardly 2 to 3 hours a day but still they get better grades in there exams..!!! therefore studying harder is not the way INSTEAD studying smarter will lead you to success...!!!

study smarter. If you study very hard and pour hours into studying but dont organize your information or study effectively, you're not learning as well as if you study smart where you would setup breaks, organize your notes, review the material and only spend half the time to learn the subject.
