Hi, can anyone assist me with this? I want to find out the latitudes and longitudes of all major places in and around Delhi. Can someone suggest from where can I get such information. I need this information to test a software that I am developing. All helpful answers would be appreciated

I know that Delhi city has the following co-ordinates 28° 35' N 77° 12' .. But what I am looking for are the langs or lats of places inside Delhi, places like Nehru Place,. Greater Kailash, etc., .. Beside that, I am aware of Google Earth and MSN maps., but they are no good when it comes to obtaining coordinates.

Google Earth works more beneficial than Google maps for this purpose. locate the position in question on Google Earth and then you'll zoom in as close as you want and positioned the cursor on the spot. The selection and longitude will coach at bottom left nook on the reveal. The coordinates are shown to a precision of 0.001 seconds of arc. that is decrease than one meter.

Now, just go to whatever city you want the longitude and latitude of, and you will see it on the bottom of your screen.
