What should I do???
I am a really caring guy and there is this girl I like, We are both sophmores and have known each other a long time and we both know we like each other. She is mostly "anti touch " she was when I met her and for alittle while after. but we have grown closer and i really like her, but I think she will not like to hold hands or hug, and I respect her so I don't. even though I am a more touchy kind of guy. and I mean with everybody I always love hugs any time from most anyone.SO WHAT SHOULD i DO TO GROW CLOSTER IN OUR RELATIONSHIP. and I want mature answers, and please do not mention sex I am saving that for marraige.

just keep being that sweet guy that u r honey and you will grow closer. let herknw that she is imp. to u...like flowers a lil not or card personalized by your touch...just simple things, doesn't have to b much for her to start feeling the same way bout you....keep up the good work, we need mor mature guys like u around who RESPECT woman:) gv it 2 God, and c how He will work something out for the both of you in this relationship

Talk to your girl. I am sure she has noticed that you are a touch and hug guy. Explain to her that this in no way showing disrespect for her, but it is just the way you are. Ask her if it would offend her. I bet she wonders why you hug other people and not her. Let her know that touching and hugging is as much a part of you as talking. She is a very lucky girl to have a guy like you.

Talk to her, tell her how you feel. If you can talk to a bunch of strangers about how you feel about her...tell her. You won't ever know if a relationship is possible unless you talk to her. it isn't just going to happen one day. Once you talk to her and she is agreeable to a relationship, talk to her about the "touching" see if you can come to a comprimise. Like maybe she'll let you hold her hand, or maybe a have a hug at the end of the day etc. You have to talk to her about how you feel. if she doesn't want a relationship, remain her friend but don't push she may just change her mind (girls are known to do that).

Talk to her about it...let her know that you are waiting til marraige for sex and want to find appropriate ways you can touch her that you will both feel comfortable with...and see what she is willing to do...holding hands might be a good compromise and a one armed side hug is non-threatening to most people...

You sound like someone every mother who loves her daughter would want her to bring home! What a great guy!
Just by how articulate and caring you are, you could very easily ask her with that wonderful demeanor you have, "would you mind if I held your hand" and that would be perfect. She will give you the truth and then don't have to work so hard guessing what she is thinking.
You sound GREAT, I hope you keep this set of self expectations!

Have you asked her out? That could be a good start ;). Usually at the end of dates there is some kind of... hugging/kissing/shaking hands?...some kind of something. If she's really not comfortable, just become closer through your personalities.

I never liked hug or holding hands in public because I grow up in different country and culture that you don't see people holding hands and hugging in public as much as Amreican people does. When my husband told me that he needs more touchy action, I was surprized because I thought we are being touchy enough. Well, more he loved me, I loved him too. Simply starts to hold his hand and hug when I felt like it just like he requested me. I'm still not confortable doing it in public, but I want him to be happy so I do. Please respect how she feels and simply tell her how you feel about "touchy." She will understand and try little by little. I'm sure she will start to like it like me!! Good luck ( ^_^ )

first wow i respect you for saving your self for marraige. i am like you that is very touchy i love to give people hugs all the time i even give strangers hugs. somepeople dont like to be tuched but i bet if you to got together she let you hold her hand and hug her. but you have to take it slow. dont rush in to anything. also talk to her and tell her how you feel and what your thinking i bet she understand. but from a girls point of veiw nomatter how much you dont like to be tuched you feel good when your holding your boyfriends hand. good luck little buddy ::hug::

I would say give it a little more time and see if she fells the same way about your 2 maby 2 be RELATIONSHIP.

Earn her trust first and foremost. Eventually trust will lead to something more. I also think she will appreciate that you are giving her time, talk about it.
