There are essentially two choices for Iraq:
1) There is a civil war in Iraq and American forces are involved, not getting anything accomplished but continue being killed. We have no chance of winning.
2) We pull out and there is still a civil war in Iraq. Yet, American forces are not being killed.
We should have never gone into the country into the first place. Right now there is a civil war going on and the U.S. has no place in it. The best thing to do is prevent anymore American lives from being lost.

I dont agree on the on the war i mean we went and took down Saddams regime 3 years ago and before that we took down the taliban in Afganistan i agree that we should of taken him down but we shouldnet have started a whole war i mean if we leave now we will leave the country in cival war and in destruction from all the gun fire and destruction there we should at least stabalize the government and not just leave it in destruction. We should take out the Islamic extremeosts there already not letting the people teach and they are setting off the suicide bombers everywhere. If we just leave the Islamic extremeists there probly reck havoc on everyone and go to country to country taking them out we should taken them out too. It would be bad if the extremeist went and tookover the oil in Saudi Arabia then they would have all the money and the power to do what ever they wanted.

Even if 'victory' occurs its no guarantee Iraq won't be influenced by fellow Shiites in the area like Iran, Hezbollah, Hamas. Iraq now has Shiite dominant government. It's never going to be hands off affair after 'victory.' There never will be 'peaceful' Iraq whenever we might withdrawl from the country. So it's really 2 questions 'why would Iraq improve if our military stay?' versus 'why would Iraq be fine if we leave now?' You can't have car mechanic fix space shuttle engine. So its question if military is the solution here.
