I would have to lean a little towards the no side on this. You are obviously not happy with yourself for whatever reason. It could be many different things.

If that makes you feel better than it's ok. I don't care about mirrors one way or the other. We all just do what we can with what we've been given. What you look like isn't who you are. I noticed your nick, most people don't know what that is so they give you lame answers to your question. I'm sorry about that. You shouldn't feel bad about yourself. It's not your fault. It's not like you asked for it or wanted it. That's just the way it is. You should accept yourself especially when there isn't anything you can do to change it. Work on changing your attitude. Attitude is something we can all work on.
Best Wishes

May I think........... For me, I would suggest to have a courage on yourself. It is yourself, learn to love yourself. The mirror just reflect your physical appearance, not your inner self. I believe that we have the same feeling about this matter. But I realize, base on the several books I have read and socialize with other people, that the best company that you have for a lifetime, during sadness and happiness, is yourself. Learn to appreciate of who you are............

Hi!
It really isn't okay. It indicates that you have a low self esteem and body image issues. Don't avoid mirrors...look right into it and say "I look good today"! or, "I love you!" and smile at yourself. As we must love ourselves first in order to really love others. These "exercises" may feel a bit weird at first, but do them.... daily. Turn this around for yourself!
Good luck! :)

I don't avoid a mirror, but I spend every second I'm in front of it looking for flaws.

It's a clear indication of ur low self-esteem. A person normally should just love himself/herself in the mirror.
Try finding out why is that.

I always feel suprised, like "thats what I look like??"
It's really weird, but I guess I'm so trapped in my mind most of the time I almost forget.
